My time off has flown by! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I know Matt, Lucas and I did. BTW, thanks for all the support and posts, they are really fun to read. Keep checkin back. I am feeling good with some rest and even better knowing I finally beat Trish for the Women's title. It was Lucas' first Christmas so he had a blast. I have some new pics to put up so stay tuned. I guess I can say I am thankful to be out of the hospital and on my road to recovery. As I have seen Matt work through this, I know it's tough, but I know I can do it! Stick with me guys and you will only make it easier for me. Once I can get around a little better I hope to be more active with ADORE and anything else I can get my hands on to be active during my time away from the ring. BTW guys, I would like to apologize to anyone who has been hurt or mislead by any Amy imposters out there. I have dealt with this in the past and it hurts me to know someone on the ADORE forum would do this. Hopefully we won't have anymore problems. I will only post right here or on the WWE.com site. I wish I could do more but besides not having enough hours in the day to contact you guys more, I am also about as computer illiterate as they come :-) I'll check back soon, Take Care, Amy My Thoughts (03/05/05) Hi Guys! What's going on? I want this forum to be about animal welfare, but it's also cool that it's a direct link to my fans who have been with me through so much. I've been busting my rear at rehab and my knee is coming along well, but I'm going through some tough stuff personally right now. I hope that you guys can respect my privacy. This means no posting or private messages on the ADORE forum about my private life. It would really mean a lot to me to know that my fans are part of the ADORE forum because they are interested in learning more about animal welfare and learning how to help animals. I want ADORE to be an organization you feel good to be part of. We have a lot of plans in the works and ADORE can continue to grow and help animals with your support. Thank you for honoring my request and being such a valuable member of ADORE and contributing to a cause that is so close to my heart. Love, Amy

Hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been catching up on my mail just hanging out with Leighann at the ALDF Hall of Hope in Sanford and thought it would be a novel idea to check in with everyone. I have also been helping with a rescue group in Atlanta called Atlanta Pet Rescue . I fostered my first dog with them. A crazy lookin little guy (my favorite kind), Louie . He is some kind of lab/ basset mix and who knows what else. My mom refered to him as a Mr. Potatohead dog if that gives you a better visual. I love getting reports that you guys are getting involved with ADORE and locally (thanx Mary!). I thought I would have had alot more free time with my knee injury, but............ I have been busier than ever! Working and rehabing makes for an extra full time job. I am still a few months away from being able to wrestle, but my knee is really starting to get stronger, I can tell. Anyone with the summer off should take a look at the volunteering oppertunities available locally. That's how I stumbled back into the animal world..... although my free time was a bit unexpected . Let me know what you guys find in your community, and get involved!!!!!! Take care everyone!!! |
