Anne's Second Encounter--Omaha, NE: 03.25.05
Okay, we got there at 12:30, bought the tickets, and walked around. Dukes of Hazard was there so I got a pic of the car and the sign, then we went walking around, looking for the place where she'd be signing. It was in the back so it was really hidden. We finally found it after asking a guy where it was cause he had mentioned her so we got in line and then at 1:03, right AFTER I got off the phone with Chels, the crowd started cheering, just like I predicted. So we wait in line, move slowly, then at 2:21 we get the chance to go up. It was incredible. I was such a doof lol. I went up and I'm like 'I have so much to tell you from Anne Marie, Chelsea, and Shana.' As soon as I said the names she looked up and smiled. I shook her hand, asked how she was doing first, told her I met her a year ago. She asked where and I said there, so I think she remembered freezing her butt off last February. So anyway, after I told her Chelsea said thanks for everything, she said, "I left her tickets last night." I reply, "Yup, she went. They hassled her about it or something. Something about them not having the tickets." She gave this look like, 'they did what?' I'm like, ut oh...someones getting their butt chewed lol. So anyway, she signs my book, makes it to me and everything. I recorded a little clip of her doing it on my cam. She saw my purse and goes "I have the same purse." I smile, and say cool. I felt so rude up there, but I told her right before I left that Chelsea wanted me to call her and she said to hang around afterward and she would talk to her then. So, I was done then. Then it was Sierra's turn. I didn't hear what was being said. So then I asked if I could go back up and get a picture with both of them. They said yes so I went back up and the guy that was taking pics on peoples cameras took one. I got the camera back and it was SO screwed up. Sierra was cut off, part of Amy was there, and it was blurry. Well finally the signing was coming to an end and Sierra and I could BOTH see that she was getting really aggrivated. The guys were putting the stuff away, taking down the sign and they were rushing her AND the fans. She called a girl on the stage after one of the workers said no, because the girl wanted a pic. That was pretty awesome. So finally she stood up, walked over to me and bent down. She told me quietly "The hotel I'm staying at is a Hilton. Go there. It's like right across the street. Just don't tell anyone." I said okay and then called her back a minute later and asked if we should just wait in the lobby. She said "Yeah, I'll get you two there." Sierra and I thanked her and took off. It took us a couple minutes to get out of the place because its like a maze. They only had one exit which was stupid if you ask me. So finally, we get out of there and go to the Hilton after I asked where it was, which it was straight across the street. We got there, go in, and we're waiting. Finally we see her. She looked kinda mad at the guy she was with. He was a big guy in a black suit, he was one of the guards or something. He was a real jerk. He's the one that rushed her. So anyway, I wasn't sure if we saw her so I called her name, she turned around smiled, nodded and flipped back around and continued talking to him. He was ignoring her so I'm guessing he was getting yelled at or something, who knows. But anyway, she turns around and nods her head toward the elevators. Sierra and I follow and she goes "We'll go up to my room because I really have to pee." Sierra and I smile and say that's cool, trying not to laugh. Sierra asked if her knee hurt and she said "Yeah, why?" Sierra says, "I'm getting sympathy pains." Amy laughed and then turned around looking for the elevator. She expected one of the two to open on the side we were on and she rolled her eyes when one across the hall opened. It was great. So we get up to her room, awesome! Oh my gosh. Huge bed, high off the ground, it was great. She goes, "have a seat over there and I'm going to go pee." So she went to the bathroom and I decided to call Chelsea. Told her where Sierra and I were, got a reaction I wasn't expecting. She's like, 'Really?! No way! Cool! Lemme 3-way Shana.' Well she did then I handed the phone to Sierra. Sierra talked to them and Amy came back a minute or so later, and plopped down on the foot rest. We chattered for a little bit about animals, I told her about the dogs in the parade I saw yesterday here in town, and she pin pointed what they were. Don't remember the name though. She asked where Shana was from, so Sierra asked Shana. Then she asked a little bit later if they (Shana and Chels) wanted to talk to her, and I go, "Only if you want to, sure." And she goes "Yeah." And Sierra handed her the phone. They talked, don't know what about cause I only heard Amy, but I know about the tickets, where Shana lives exactly in Maryland, and where Shana sent the gift. That's all I remember. Then they hung up and we continued with our conversation. We talked about a lot, school, music, work, life, grandparents, and the current issue somewhat. It was really cool. I don't know how to go into detail on those, but she basically just asked us questions and stuff. We also talked about lawsuits and stuff cause Sierra is going to be a child's psychologist. Just told us what can happen to superstars and what in the business, and why. And that's about it. We were up there for a good 40 minutes. She finally goes around 4, "Well I'm gonna order some lunch. Do you guys want to get some pictures?" We say yes of course and pose for a group picture after I set the timer on my digi. That was awesome. Muchos better than the one the guy took. Then we got single photos, which was awesome too. Then we said our goodbyes and I told her thanks for everything. She gave us both big hugs and we said goodbye. So, that's that.
