Anne's Third Encounter--Sioux Falls, SD: 03.26.06
My friend Sierra and I were waiting all day for Amy to arrive at the arena. We got there about 10:30 AM, 15 minutes earlier than we had actually planned. We were told she usually arrives later, between 11 and 2, so we waited until 1:45 and then left after we didn't see her. We had some other stuff we had to attend to, so we took care of that and, both of us being tired, we decided to skip a nap and head back to the arena and wait some more. We got back there about 10 after 3 or so and kept waiting. When we got back there, we asked a guy from earlier that we met if she had arrived yet and he said no, so we still had some hope of seeing her, and we really actually needed to see her since we had bought her things the night before. We saw plenty of people arrive, one of them being Lisa Marie. I guess she was running late so she didn't come over. Kinda disappointing but understandable. About 3:45, Amy drove up in a maroon SUV and recognized us from last time. She said she'd be right back because she had to take her stuff inside. About 4:15, she came back outside and we talked for awhile. We gave her the stuff we got her, which was a T-shirt of "The Used" and a Metalhead CD and DVD pack, both from Hot Topic, and also a delivery of Vanilla Mint Toothpaste from my friend Shana. Sierra gave her a mini 8 pack of Diet Coke since the woman always drinks it whenever we see her. After that, we chatted it up for a few minutes. Thankfully, RVD was out there to distract the other fans to let us talk to her - of course, he didn't do it on purpose, you know how wrestling fans are, they wanna meet anybody and everybody they can, haha. I snapped a picture with her before she went back in, and I also got shots from the show but they aren't that good since I had a lot of people in front of me. I might put them up later. For now, here is the picture of she and I. I just have one thing to say to Amy and that is, thank you for making my year once more. Hope to see ya soon!
