Anne Marie's Fifth Encounter: Lita Signing--Massapequa, Long Island, NY 05.10.03
These pictures are from when I met Amy in Massapequa, Long Island NY. Let me tell you I just kept running into bad luck this morning. I forgot my phone on my bed so after I bought new sandals for the 2 boys (oh and Robbie's Little Nemo shoes light up sandals are so cute lol) I went back and got my phone. So we finally left Albany at about 10:45am. Well the traffic was absolutely horrible. Never again will I take a car to Long Island. It was beautiful scenery and stuff just too much traffic. But I look at the clock and its like 2:45. We were in Massapequa, but I couldn't find the mall. First we went into the Sunrise Promenade or something. So I call them and ask them what time the signing was going to be until. The guy said 4:30pm. I was like hmm that's odd maybe the website had the time wrong. But then I thought maybe the traffic was bad for her ride as well. Well we finally get there and hardly anyone was in line. It was like 3:30pm or so. When I went in the store, the guy was like " hey what's shaking" lmao. Then he looks down at my nephew in the stroller and says hey how's it going. They were real nice. Amy was extremely nice as well. She saw me and said "Hey I knew I was missing someone". She was awesome. I had her sign my Hardys book and she said something about Team Xtreme unites or something lol. We talked for a few minutes and I asked for a hand shake and she said "Nope you can't..no" and she goes "hey come over here" and she gave me a hug and said "It's good to see you again". It was a really good trip esp. with everything else that has been going on in my life at this moment. Here are my pics. The 1st one of me and Lita the guy was trying to figure out my camera so I had to get up and check the camera and he actually had taken 2 pics with it. But here are my pics. This one pic of all of us, Robbie the youngest he wouldn't let her hold him (I think he may have been tired) like he wouldn't let go of my hair or me. But we finally got him on her lap and he wouldn't stay. So the other 2 sat on her lap. I think he was scared of the bandana or something. Cause sometimes if I have a hat on he gets shy. He usually loves people though so I was shocked. Then we didn't get home until 11:30pm. We got lost in Brooklyn and we asked this nice guy for help. He was like I'm going to NJ follow me and we followed him up to the 687 or something near a bridge and he pulled over and told us to go all the way straight from then on. God bless that man, cause I was getting scared. Scotty the 4 yr old one of the kids on Amy's lap in the picture. He been so excited after we got home. He was trying to tell his grandfather about him meeting "deeda" (that's how he says Lita cause he has speech problems) but then he also did the guns to show my dad lol. When he wants me to play PS2 SmackDown game...he picks Lita for me and Jeff for him lol. He is such a riot.
