Encounters--Chelsea: Borders - Westford, Ohio - 11/04/03

Ok, this was the first time I'd seen Amy since the injury. I drove 4 hours to get to this signing, but I had to go. Hell, my dad had surgery on the 3rd, but I dragged him up there anyway. She looked so awesome! I got there and was number 43 (I still have the ticket!!!), so I waited around FOREVER for it to start. I went and hung out behind the building and got to see her come in...she had Mason with her and he was SO cute.

Anyway, the signing finally started and I went to get in line, and when I did, some chick said she'd pay me 35 dollars to get in line with me, so I said sure, since it would pay for my dinner and gas (gotta love driving a Honda).

Anyway, I got up there, and I was wicked nervous. once she spoke, I totally chilled, though. I told her that I had met her before and she asked where, so I told her (Columbus, wmx7, Cincinnati, and then) and she kinda remembered me from wm x7, and when I told her I made this bracelet for her, she remembered. we talked for a few minutes, she asked me how I liked the book and I said it was great and we got our pic together then I went to leave and she stopped me. I was wearing the infamous Lita pants (black with pink bungee's), and Amy goes, "your pants!" and I said "yes?" so she says "you had them for a long time?" I told her I had them for about 2 years, and she goes "I can tell, they're getting that faded gray color like mine." I smiled, thinking it was cool that she noticed my pants, and then I said, "yup, they get like that when you wear them once a week." then she goes "they look good on you, anyway." I smiled at her, and she gave me this cute little half grin and then I left. I had a great time!
