Tracy's Encounter with Amy--Omaha, NE: 05.05
My meeting with Lita has been a long time coming! I have seen her up close at shows and getting out of cars ect... for years!! I never had the chance to meet her though. Finally after seeing her perform live for 5 years I finally had the chance to meet her!!
We went to Omaha, Nebraska for a Live Monday Night Raw taping in May of 2005. We were waiting for the superstars to arrive. We had met all the superstars the day before the show. BUT not Lita. Well, my friend wanted to leave the arena. I told her NO, Lita had not arrived yet. She told me I was wasting my time and we needed to go! WELL I said NO! I'm not leaving! I said I just know this is my chance to meet her. SO, my friend went to the car pissed off at me because I was not going to leave untill Lita came!!
Well... I was talking to my son when my daughter said MOM!!! Lita just drove past! I turned around and SCREAMED!! LITA PLEASE STOPP!!!! WELL...SHE DID! I dropped everything in my hands and ran to her car! We got to talk for a bit! I also have my neck fused together like Lita, so we talked a bit about that and other stuff. She was a real doll! She even said would you like to take a picture with me!! I was on top of the world!! Finally, Finally! I got to meet Lita! And she was exactly like I expected. Just a real person like you and me. She was just awesome!!! I would love to meet her again! I just know I will. Well I just wanted to share a couple experiences with you guys!
